Anyone else notice that the USA Today category listings are a bit off? Yesterday, the play-off roundup was listed under "War on Terror". And sports news? How about this:
Airbus parts under scrutiny. FBI probing whether improperly inspected parts could have played role in New York crash last year. Sports 11:21:54 PM PS - I probably wouldn't have readers if it weren't for Dave. Three links in a week! Thanks, Dave! 11:03:18 PM
![]() Some of you asked what kind of dog my bird herder is. She's a Bouvier Des Flandres--a Belgian cattle dog. And if you think herding ravens is impressive, you should see what she can do with a gaggle of children.

![]() Anchorage Daily News | Jet narrowly escapes disaster: "Controllers instructed the China Airlines pilots to take off from a north-south runway but instead they used an east-west taxiway. Investigators and a China Airlines official say they still don't know why." This is scary. I work at the opposite end of taxiway this plane took off on. There's a stand of trees there. If that plane was low enough to clip its wheels on a snow berm when it flew out over the water, it certainly would have hit the trees (and my work) if it turned east instead of west. 1:13:35 PM
