Giants Break Away
It's just phenomenal watching my San Francisco Giants. All season, but especially since the All-Star Break, they've just been whipping the daylights out of the National League and especially the division. I have to give credit to Felipe Alou; it just feels like it's always the right man at bat, always the right man on the mound. The Diamondbacks look like fools tonight, with mistake after mistake after mistake.
Mentioning Alou, my pal Roger always talks about how well Alou talks to the press. Case in point: in this morning's Chronicle, they talk about how Alou 's coaching record reached .500 yesterday. Alou's reply: "I know that I am better than .500 as a man."
