1969 Moon Pix in 2004 QTVR.
Panoramic photographer Hans Nyberg has created a beautiful QTVR panorama of the Apollo 11 lander on the moon from a series of shots taken in 1969 by astronaut Neil Armstrong.Nysberg writes:
"The images where made handheld and they are definetily not made with the lens rotated in the nodal point which makes the images quite difficult to stitch. However I find it is interresting that they even thought of making images for 360 degree panoramas.Actually I am not sure they did but perhaps they were just intended to be stitched together in 2-3 images. The methods of stitching single images together was not at all known in 1969."

San Francisco's clubs you can't join [bOing bOing]

I've actually been to one of those clubs, though I'm not supposed to say so. I guess that makes me better than all you who never have been to one! Ha ha!
