Calif gov. Davis' election year ploy: Tap Internet and telephones [Politech]

In the first debate when Davis was running for Governor, he held up Singapore as an example of what he wanted for California. It's no suprise that he's trying to reach that goal now that he's in power.

One flaw I've noticed in the news aggregator idea is that many of the sites I'm interested in don't publish RSS files. Actually, this isn't a flaw in the idea, but rather a lack of acceptance or maybe knowledge. For example, Packing.org probably could have an RSS file, but they don't.
