There are now 3 Silicon Valley Venture Capitalists with active weblogs. They are generally excellent discussions that focus on:
- Issues facing investment community in the silicon valley
- Real & honest tips for presenting entrepreneurs (read & heed!)
- Comments on recent pitches, hot topics, etc
Here they are:
It's wonderful to see the investors using such a powerful technology to share lessons learned.
Also, keep an eye on Stanford's Thought Leader's seminar as well. They usually have a top VC presenting every other week, and you can watch it all online for free (live or afterwards). They just had Mike Moritz, and John Doerr is presenting on April 23.

Jane, terrific writer and famous game girl, writes an interesting piece on a new game from Japan called Rex (Playstation). Comes with a "trans vibrator" device that transfers magical frequencies to anywhere you please. She describes her boyfriend playing the video game. Her boyfriend Justin said "It was a bit odd, my fingers were working the controls, but they were also kind of working you." What a great concept, i.e. let one person do something they enjoy, while that same "something" brings immediate pleasure to someone else.
Her blog Umamitsunami mentions today that Wired magazine just ran a piece on a similar topic, after consulting with her, but didn't mention her name at all.
