Writing And Setting.
In order to push my own use and understanding of typography a bit further I’m going to write some suitable new text pieces, or grab some from the archive, and then set them.

How To Really Manage Those Fonts.
If you are using more fonts than the standard set that comes with your computer then you need a font manager, especially one that checks on the health of each of your font files. Corrupted fonts are one of the hardest to diagnose but most common problems in computers today.
The best font manager of them all, and there aren’t many of them anyway, is Font Manager. I’ve used and recommended it for years. It’s way beyond Suitcase and Adobe Font Manager Deluxe. And only Suitcase is going to be Font Manager’s competition in Mac OS X.
This new version works in Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X, and there is a Windows version as well, but there’s a downside—Font Reserve 3 does not yet support OpenType or dFont fonts. That will be coming in a future version apparently.
