Greg Gorman & The Body Electric.
While trying to push the edge of the envelope of magazine writing, and attempting to persuade the editors of Black+White to innovate, I wrote this piece as an introduction to an interview with Greg Gorman.
There is a fairly pointed reference to Walt Whitman in there, for those who know his work and nature.

The Weekend’s Movie Viewing.
Finally managed to get hold of Kieslowski’s series of ten one-hour films relating to the ten commandments, Dekalog, from Planet Video last week. I have been watching them throughout the weekend, in between other things, but they really deserve my fullest attention and viewing many times over.
The collection has finally been released on DVD in the United States, encoded for all regions, and I am saving up my pennies to import it. Faber lists the screenplay in its catalog as being in print, although it appears to be unlisted at Amazon.com.
