I was having a chat about this issue the other night. The most interesting aspect to me is how the way we are wired (and our assumptions about the way we are wired) are often uncritically and invisibly incorporated in the way we express or (think we) understand our own conciousness.
Maybe I'll expand on this at some point. (Threat or promise? You decide.)
