Viruses/Spam
Someone out there is using my hotmail e-mail address as the "from"
address for spam/viral e-mail. When these messages are sent to a
non-existant or inactive address, I get a "Message Undeliverable"
e-mail. Today, I'm getting more of these failure messages than
spam.
In case anyone searches on the e-mail address and finds this site,
please be assured that my PC is virus-free and any spam or viral
e-mails you have apparently been getting from my address have been sent
from elsewhere.
If I'm in your contacts list, please virus-check your system. Now.
On the upside, I understand that virus writers and spammers will be
reborn as that black fungus that sometimes grows on neglected
shower-curtains. (Which is arguably too good for them).
I find bleach and boiling hot water very effective, by the way.
