 I don't honestly recognize any of Vigne' works, but I'm sure that Doug Miller does.  Kurzweil on the otherhand, still leaves me reeling from reading his The Age of Spiritual Machines: When Computer Exceed Human Intelligence.  This chat transcript is worth the read just for his comments alone.
