[Marc's Voice] " The Vision is perfect, but the price is not.......
JRobb makes the statement: "We are rapidly approaching the day when it will be possible for a person to publish a weblog from a PC, with rich audio and video, that is read/heard/seen by 1 m people and have it cost under $40 a year (all in costs including software, bandwidth, etc.). Now, that is a revolution." [JRobb's Radio Weblog]
I love JRobb's attitude and enthusiasm. But now he's ventured into 'our territory' - so I hope you don't mind the rant."

What to do on 9-11-2002?
I don't think I will be going to work on 9-11. I don't want 9-11-2002 to just be another busy day of work. I want to reflect. Since I only live about 50 miles from NYC and work about 30 miles away 9-11-2001 was very real.
I'm still trying to plan the day. First I thought I go to ground zero but my family is against that. I think we will stay in New Jersey. I want to include my son in whatever I decide to do. My wife has to work.
I will be audiobloging/webloging whatever we decide to do. But I don't want the technology getting in the way. This weekend I need to get "Voice Over Blogs" 9-11 ready.
I want to keep it real simple. 1) post 2) post and audio file 3) post, audio file and pic

[Scripting News] Adding namespaces to 0.94?.
"My position is this. If there are no objections, I will go ahead and add the language to the spec, today or tomorrow. If there are objections, let's deploy 0.94 over the next few weeks, and try to understand and overcome the objections in the coming weeks, resulting in RSS 0.95. If someone wants to call that RSS 2.0, or Blue Cheese Syndication 1.0 or whatever, that's okay too. (Caesar Salad Syndication might be a cool name too.)
What do you think?
I think do it!!

Ray Ozzie's Weblog: "The Great Conversion to notebook computers is well under way, and it's now clear that the most wildly successful wireless mobile productivity device won't be the 3G phone, or even the BlackBerry, but the ubiquitous and inexpensive WiFi notebook. In a shape and size to suit every need."
