Over at:  Marc's Voice -> Multimedia Conversations

" OK - now freeze here - now let's look at the multimedia side of the spectrum. Clearly creating or authoring multimedia is not a real-time process. It's something that's well thought out and methodically produced. This changes the nature of interchange, creativity and certainly conversation. Check out this chart I did recently. What happens when we explore further the spectrum between publishing and communication? "

80211 planet.com News ->  Verizon's Router Rebate -> "Since nothing's stopping Verizon customers from putting a router in the home or office to share high-speed Internet access, officials figured its better to join 'em than beat 'em. "

Good to see someone is paying attention.  As broadband vendors start to expand their features and try to differentiate their offerings they will need to harvest the ideas/requests of their early adopter customers and convert them to next phase business offerings.  Why not offer a wireless router? Maybe next year.  How about a router/wirelss/weblog server combo that supports audioblogs/multimedia files?

This news may be a baby step but at least this is a step in the right direction.
