Via [allNetDevices Wireless News] Wireless Home Entertainment, Part III. "A surprising number of technically savvy consumers, though still a tiny minority, have started to experiment with home entertainment networking at a fairly primitive level -- using PCs as personal video recorders (PVRs) and streaming MP3s to their stereo systems."

Via [Marc's Voice]:

" The PC can play the audio and display (with some limitations) the video - but why can't we embed media into what we want to say? This is the real source of my frustration. The little audio speaker icon should be in the middle of the text stream, just like HTML tags. And a little camera (for photos), video camera (for video) and graphic easel (for artwork - images) should be there - as well. Clicking on any of these icons would launch that media element. Easy to set options would have images render themselves - right there - with the text wrapping around it. "

Via [Garth:Radio Throat]: "Harold, when are you going to send me a copy of Voice Over Blogs? Huh? Huh? :) " Let me go on the blogging record saying Garth gets the first alpha copy once I get the RSS 2.0 stuff working.
