Bryan Allison The audio madness continues :

"I think there's more to audio blogging than just recording an MP3 file and putting up a link or two. The newness will wear off, but I think the trend will remain as people figure out different ways to tell their stories. It's a baby step toward multimedia, I guess -- a blend of publishing and broadcasting." Bryan, I didn't think you sounded last night like you were reading from a script.  I was actually very surprised to hear that you did.   I don't think there is anything wrong with thinking out and writing down your thoughts before you create your audio.  Good stuff!!

Using audioblogging to make the point

One of the things others and I do with our weblogs is link to other posts and articles on the Web.  When I want to add comments to the link today, I just add some italic text to the end of the post.  Why not audioblog the comment instead?

The format could look like this: source url: source quote: italic audio title: audio comment

I don't think it is necessary to duplicate the comment in text as long as there is a title and an appropriate icon.

We could also use the same technique in a pure audioblogging link:

This format would look like this: source url: source audio title: source audio: italic audio title: audio comment

Examples to follow.
