A much BetterConsole

BetterConsole really is! Wow!

First, it's really fast; compared to tailing logs, it's amazing. Second, it actually understands negative window positions, something Console is still having trouble with. Third, you can create targeted log collections (for instance, I can target all the log and console entries for JBoss, Tomcat and friends in a single document). Finally, it can be set up to quickly identify log file swaps (or do-over in the case of JBoss).

Oh yeah, did I mention that it's really fast?

Unfortunately, they want payment via PayPal, which I just can't get started with. I've got a credit card which is separate from all the other family stuff that I use for things just like this. Perhaps the flexibility they want precludes them from using a service such as Kagi or something like it.
