Easter reading I was spending some time today getting caught up (sort of) on all the mailing lists that pile up around here. There are a lot of them. I was completely derailed when I ran into this article, Geeks and Spooks, a speech given by Bruce Sterling at "Global Challenges, Trends and Best Practices in Cryptography". After reading this, I read some other notes. Then I popped up to the top level of Viridian Design and wandered around some more, eventually finding myself over at Sterling's home page. There is so much to read and absorb on these pages that you might miss the link to The Hacker Crackdown. Hopefully, now you won't.

So how did I do on my mail backlog? Not too good, but that's OK, I enjoyed myself. Happy Easter!

Let the jokes begin Andrew Orlowski gets April Fools off to a flying start with this piece about the AOL-TW acquisition of two hundred of the most popular weblogs. The bit about Dave Winer in the hot tub is laugh out loud funny. [bOing bOing]
