Date Night Paulette and I went out last night to see "The Hours" (It was an interesting movie, with lots of symbolism that I'm still trying to sort out). Tickets were $9.50 each. Our babysitter charges $13/hour. Parking was $5. Dinner at Mels was ~$20. So, one basic night out with my best girl friend cost us $105. Ug! update: forgot popcorn and a coke, $7.50. Grand total = $112.50! 10:11:51 AM
