Jeffrey Olson's A Day on the PCT

Scala, D, Mondrian, Oz, Mercury, etc.
New programming languages to think about: Odersky's "Scala", and
Walter Bright's "D".
Odersky was one of the principal creaters of Pizza. Walter Bright wrote the C/C++ front end that I worked on at Apple before the NeXT merger occurred. Thanx to lambda for
the Scala link,
and to Dr Dobb's February 2002 issue for Walter's article.
Oh, and DDJ has an article about Mondrian, too.
Others I'd like to learn more about: Oz, Mercury, OCaml, Haskell, O'Haskell, Vyper ...

BrassRing Job Fair
Went to the BrassRing job fair today in Santa Clara. Handed out a few resumes and talked to a few potential employers.
Penny stayed in the yard this time, even though I got back a bit after dark.
