South of France, in February?
South of France, in February?
We actually did some of that work today, but focused on puttering: things like pruning our large rosemary bush, Deb making rosemary olive oil bottles, and I cutting up rosemary branches for future use in the barbecue. Sixty eight degrees F in the shade, still, clear sky. There are already plenty of little blue flowers on the rosemary. Deb asks "Are we in the South of France?"
My reply: "No, it's February. If we were there, it would be cold and it would be raining."
The manzanita is also completely in bloom. I suppose it's a bit subtler, small clusters of white bell-shaped flowers hanging down from most of the leaf clusters on each plant's periphery. Nice, though.
