2004 Presidential Election

The Denver Post has an article today about the presidential race, funding, and some of the negatives each candidate has to overcome this fall [July 11, 2004, "Following the money"]. From the article, "Bush-Cheney versus Kerry-Edwards. Millionaire Republicans funded by businesses and corporations taking on millionaire Democrats heavily supported by lawyers. Only days after former trial lawyer John Edwards was tapped as a vice presidential candidate, the battle for the White House is shaping up to be a campaign of stereotypes. Corporate crooks against ambulance chasers."

Update: MakeMeRalph: comments on a New York Times article conferring the coveted status of "Swing State" to Colorado.

Update: TalkLeft asks, "Should President Have Emergency Power to Delay Election?" No.

Update: The Onion: "According to a study released Monday by the Hammond Political Research Group, many of the nation's liberals are suffering from a vastly diminished sense of outrage."
