Denver November 2004 Election

Mike Miles was to decide by yesterday whether to continue his campaign for Ben Nighthorse Campbell's U.S. Senate seat, according to the Cortez Journal. From the article, "U.S. Senate candidate Mike Miles, who garnered some strong support in Tuesday's caucuses in Southwest Colorado, will re-evaluate his campaign and decide Sunday whether to continue the race. Miles told the Journal Friday that he and his close supporters will decide what ap-proach to take between now and May 22, the date of the state Democratic Party Convention. 'I need some input from people around the state, and we're going to decide what action to take,' Miles said via phone Friday. The former Army officer and State Department diplomat said he wants to continue campaigning, but at the same time he values the opinions of supporters and is willing to listen to rank-and-file Democrats."

Update: Adding Understanding is reporting that Mike Miles is staying the course in his bid for the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate from Colorado.
