Live From The Millenium Hotel on Times Square and Blizzard 2003 - It's the $3 post

Bring on the Blizzard of 2003! Posting from the 2nd floor of the Millenium Hotel on a $1/4 minutes kiosk. And loving it!!

Into NYC Saturday afternoon, stopping for a killer Rubben minus kraut at Katz's. The snow started falling late afternoon and has continued until now (6:45 pm ET), with just a little let-up mid-afternoon. Looks like we'll be able to head back to Connecticut tommorrow, one day late on our 5 day itenerary. We've kept close to the hotel for all of the dining extravaganza.

Trattoria Trecoli (they'll shoot me due to misspelling, but love the press) right out the rear door last night was fantastic food and a totally reasonable price. Mushroom tortellini, teriamasu (hehe, say the spelling gods), etc. Excellent.

Jennifer Garner on SNL last night was not real good. Sorry 'Alias' queen.

This morning, the blizzard was in full effect and not much happening traffic wise. Starbucks on 43rd (?) off Times Square a block for coffee (and a not-mine screwed up order) and pastry. Just killer to be walking out in the snow...drifting and blowing.

Todd and I left the coffee, danish, and girls in the rooms to breakfast throwdown at the Red Flame Diner one block up (again). Talked to the kids from our counter seat and loved being away and Dad all at the same time. Go figure.

Virgin Records on the square and a little lounge time watching NY watch itself on the 24 hour weather watch. Blizzard 2003.

Heartland Brewing Company for dinner, great beers, oh yeah. Time running low on the meter here.

Tonight, it's Mama Mia (the ABBA show), one more night in town, and hopefully back to Noank tomorrow.

From the kiosk on Times Square, Much Love....VO
