Mi' zar, left and Al Geiba on the right:

Also known as zeta Ursa Major and, gamma Leo these two are among the sky's prettiest double stars to observe. Mizar, in the Big Dipper's handle was the first double star to be identified as such. Algeiba, the lion's front knee, is my favorite double, because of the subtle coloration, the closeness of the stars and it looks like an ant crawling across the sky. These stellar photographs are hand-guided one second exposures taken with the 6" , f/5 Schwar dobsonian at 166X magnification.

Jupiter's moons, Calisto, Ganymede and Europa lead the way to the western horizon as the gas giant gets lower and lower in the sky in the evening. Soon the planet will disappear behind the sun.
