they were assigned. I apologize and express regret for any misconduct, hardship, or
harm caused to the victims of sexual misconduct by Roman Catholic
priests assigned to the Diocese."
Well, that was yesterday. Now Thomas O'brien, ranking catholic emissary in
Phoenix says I didn't do it and tries to take it all back. County
Attorney Richard Romley says he'd put O'brien behind bars, but he just
can't bring himself to jail a bishop.
