A bit of slung mud paints a conspiracy that reaches from the mysterious Mr. Rove, deep in the bowels of the White House to the Golden State where the evil Arnold (remember, like in the first Terminator) plots to turn over the votes of millions of Californians. Darrell Issa gets made head of the Navy or something too.
[pointer from wKen]

Arnold won't meet with the president, who will be visiting the state ... for some reason. Be sure and monitor the two-way band though, for secret conspiracy communiques.
[NYT]

Bush came to Tucson to prepare a campaign for 'tree thinning' later today in California. I guess he wanted to see some burnt trees, so he can better threaten the live ones. KFYI news reported that sheriff's deputies killed a guy who came within miles of the president's expected location hours before Bush arrived.

A head only of Charles Taylor, the ex-president of Liberia"I will be back."

Yes, he really said that, but based on his intonations, he'll never be refered to as African Strongman Charles Taylor.

Taylor left Liberia for Nigeria. I'm sure he'll call Blah with suggestions on how to run the country from time to time. A recall election has been scheduled for October.
