Elimination round
I'm still one of the most sought after democrats, undecided. Yet I have taken a few of the candidates out of the picture:
Al Sharpton, his lack of interest in the race implies that he would not take the job as president very seriously. He also has the ability to confuse what he wants reality to be like from what it is like. Bye Al!
Joe Lieberman - he's preachy, moralistic and thinks he's better than you. So long, cry baby.
John Kerry was so sure that he should be the nominee, because, well, he's been at it for so long, I'm sure he feels that he deserves it. Doesn't work that way John. Besides, for the guy who founded VVAW, what the hell are you doing supporting Bushes oil grab - I mean our noble war against neo-terrorist Saddam Hussein? Go use your campain funds to buy a clue John.
So the six candidates still standing are Carol Braun, Wesley Clarke, Howard Dean, John Edwards, Dick Gephardt and Dennis Kucinich. With only about two weeks left until the primary, I will need to start thinking about what each brings to the party, and who can unseat president Bush.
Carol has the most humane message, Wesley is smart about the use of force, Howard has a base honesty, Dick knows the ins and outs of Washington and Dennis is true to the liberal ideal. John Edwards remains an unknown, but I like his accent.
Any advice?
