Radio Libertad: Live from Plaza Altamira on the Internet! (thanks to Tyromaniac).

My brother has created an Internet broadcast of Radio Libertad (90.7 FM), the unofficial radio station of Plaza Altamira. The signal is not great because it has a limited range and he lives right at the fringes, but here is the link

To make ot work you will need quicktime, get it running, say open URL and paste the link:

Enjoy even if the signal is not great!!!

Things seem to have calm down at Plaza Altamira.

Look at the pictures from yesterday in an earlier posting. Amazingly scary... 8:26:58 PM  What do you think? ( Thoughts) Who linked? []

The signal is back. There is a confrontation between the people at Plaza Altamira and the National Guard. Is tonight the first act of the civil war?

I've already lost the signal of Radio Libertad. The information I have is that tonight or tomorrow the government will declare an emergency and take the square.

Here it is Radio Libertad in Internet. Is temporary, because I'm using my laptop... The radio is far from my laptop... By the way, you'll need Quicktime.

A new frequency for Radio Libertad (from Plaza Altamira). They are out at 90.7FM with a strong signal... I'm trying to get a find it in my radio so I can get a feed to the Internet...

BBC: "Bill Gates is betting that you want an alarm clock that knows your schedule and can wake you in time for that 9 o'clock meeting, taking into account the heavy traffic and slow going due to the fog." [Scripting News]

I have that already... It's called a Palm.

El Honor ni se Divisa, Pt. II

The government doesn't care, but right now there is chaos in the city. Since the police was illegally intervened and some of its commands are invaded by the coward militaries without honor, there have been terrorists attacks and thefts all over the city, including a bomb to a TV station. This is it, folks, if there was any doubt, we are living a dictatorship... One in which, pro-government thugs can, with total impunity, attack any opposition group. The government wants a war they can not win. I predict death and chaos in this city. Hopefully, the rest of the country will be spared.

How quiet are the OAS, Gaviria, Carter and the rest of the assholes that refused to see reality, because it conflicts with their own personal interest.

Now nobody has to obey any authority, that's what happen when authorities break the law. Protesters in Altamira have closed a freeway, right beside a military command pots. The military can't do anything. I could go out and steal or blow or kill anything and anyone, who will stop me? The police is preoccupied with the military invaders the military are preoccupied with the police. A citizenship without any respect for authority and law, heading to a violent elimination of the weaker group, which I'm sure is the government. The most probable future in Venezuela is a Pinochet style military coup with the explicit intention of killing any government sympathizer. That's tragic, and certainly far from what I desire, but the government is undercutting any other option.
