A TV Station has just shown pictures from this morning of the mayor of Libertador with one of the attackers in Plaza Altamira... In case there was any doubt of the relation...

Full PDVSA Board resigns.

Except for the person that was named today to the Board of PDVSA, the full Board of the country's oil company resigned today. This includes the external Directors who are Chavez supporters as well as Jorge Kampkof a highly regraded executive who was also considered to be pro-Chavez. No reason has yet been given as to the reason and or/if it is related to the events in Plaza Altamira.

On great tragedies, great opportunities are born. If our leaders were wise they would be planing a big march tomorrow... for peace. WIth pro and anti government together...I doubt our leaders have that inside them.

The rumours are that tonight they will try to create several disturbances around the city, in order to attack certain targets including Plaza Altamira...

The government created this monsters that can celebrate death and destruction. Now they can't control them. They are calling for someone to take revenge on them, if they find it it will be civil war.

That's near my house, by the way, not a media show put on TV.

The Pro-Chávez mobs near PDVSA La Campiña are celebrating the events of tonight with fireworks. Now tell me the government is not guilty.

That the government is unable to change its speech in front of this dire circumstances is proof not only of an evident lack of morals, but of a political blindness. "Chávez is the biggest assassin that has produced Venezuela", the phrase of Carlos Ortega is true. Even if Chávez didn't pull the trigger he created the situation that, not only permitted, but instrumented the current situation. Fill with hate someone did, what Chávez and his government have ask for moths if not years. Kill the tiny minority that is causing some problems. Now, there is no way back. The ones who started this have to go to jail. With or without their own shame, with their heads high if that is how they feel. But the blood is on them. They are the guilty. No matter how they feel.

The dead girl has 17 years not 7 as I reported earlier. The report has been reproduced in a lot of places. Sorry. One of the criminals was captured. It seems now there were no sharpshooters. It was more of a columbine type of massacre. Clearly done by minds blinded by hate.

Diosdao Cabello, Minister of Interior and Justice, show his genius saying that the murders today do not have a political motivation...What? you and the criminals in your government are telling your people to do this. You have done this for months. Saying the opposition does not exists or is insignificant. I ask whether a moral person could try to spin this. The answer is clearly no. These animals in the government have no morals.

The Vice-President of Venezuela José Vicente Rangel is clearly more worried about the criminals than the victims. What Cynicism.

The threat is to attack the TV stations so that we will be blinded... This may be the start of the bloody dictatorship.

On April 11 I said murder had returned to the venezuelan political scene. Today is more of a fork in the road. Will murder stay or be stop by the decent folk living in these lands?

Sharpshooter attack on Plaza Altamira. Sharpshooters began shooting minutes ago on Plaza Altamira where dissident military have been staying for one month. Roughly 15 people are injured and I see on TV what appears to be a dead person. The plaza is being evacuated as the police tries to capture the sharpshooters which appear to be located in two different buldings. [The Devil's Excrement]

Strike in Venezuela Cuts Into Oil Production. A general strike against President Hugo Chavez's government paralyzed Venezuela's oil industry today. By The Associated Press. [New York Times: NYT HomePage]

Old news, assholes! People are dying now, who cares about oil?

What would you do if you were decent and your supporters started killing? Would you look for a way out? Would you try to spin it? Is there a plan behind this attack? Can anyone seriously believe this wasn't done by a blind fanatical Chávez supporter?
8:06:48 PM  What do you think? ( Thoughts) Who linked? []

The info I have right now is that there are three dead, including one of the four or more shooters. One of the seriously wounded, the number of which could be as high as 17, is a 7 year old girl...Oh, god...

People are going to take justice in their own hands. I know that is wrong, but can I blame them? What if you knew her and found her dead on the ground? How can you run if you know?, as Neil Young said.
8:00:29 PM  What do you think? ( Thoughts) Who linked? []

CNN can't contact anyone from the Venezuelan government. Do they have more important business? Or are they planing new killings?
7:57:15 PM  What do you think? ( Thoughts) Who linked? []

Two death, twelve wounded. The blood again stains the hand of Chávez. How many death does he need? Leave, now!
7:38:14 PM  What do you think? ( Thoughts) Who linked? []

There are several dead. What can you say in a time like this? There is going to be war... And it is clear who started it...
