Chavista mobs are assaulting the media centers... Particularly the TV stations... No planes, so I think this is a failure for the opposition and a big triumph for Chavez Plans...

Since I'm picking up on philosophers let me continue with Nietzche... He said What doesn't kills you, makes you stronger What an asshole!...
What doesn't manage to kill you always makes you weaker, until you become a bloody mess and then, finally, thankfully, you die...
Who published these guys?

The intelligence I have indicate that the main battle is tonight. On the one hand, we should hear planes threatening Mr. Chávez as a final warning that his days are over. On the other, his own misguided supporters are being asked to fight for him by attacking the media centers (TV, Radio and Newspapers) in order to blind us. It isn't clear whether this is done as a distraction for an exit strategy or is a final attempt to conquer it all. Contrary to dire prognostications, the pot-banging has started in full. It isn't as big as other days, but is big enough. The Chávez supporters seem to be clearly outnumbered and it is possible that they will loose several battles and provide the dead and wounded for a change. There is chaos under heaven and the situation is excellent, as that well-known asshole Confucius used to say... (yes, he won or tie our last battle but the war is still on!).

eMe reminds me of a song for these trouble times. Venezuela is Al Norte del Sur. Don't let it die. What are you going to give your children when they grow up? They will never forgive you.

Venezuela Strike Sparks Buying Panic. CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) -- A general strike aimed at ousting leftist President Hugo Chavez sparked panic buying at supermarkets and gasoline stations on Monday and forced the national guard to commandeer delivery trucks and ensure that service stations opened. This picture was taken at yesterday's burial of the victims of Friday's massacre by Oscar Sabater (El Negro) (Many Thanks!), who dilligently sent it to me as I failed to bring my camera in the rush to get there. I was impacted by the gray/black colors of our usual colorful flag. To me, it reflects the feeling of many Venezuelans who have been in mouring not only since Friday, but long before that. Newspapers estimate 30-50 thousand people showed up at the burial.
