Kenny Lay - the new Houdini. First he makes billions dissappear off Enron balance sheets, then millions dissappear from retirement accounts and now the GRAND FINALE. He makes himself dissappear.

You know the big statistic here is that these guys are likely to be employed in some hum-drum job and need a stimulating outlet. Wish I had those problems! Here is my 1.5 man show that really keeps me jumping when we have projects.
This whole article just confirms my theory of why open source is not something that an IT Mgr or CIO will bet his reputation on.

Just as I've been reading in Scripting News, the BigCo's are making up their own dance card. IBM, Microsoft, BEA Systems to partner on Web services: IN AN ATTEMPT to ensure consistency in the development of Web services, IBM, Microsoft, and BEA Systems on Thursday will announce a software group the purpose of which will be to promote existing and future standards as defined by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and the Organization for the Advancement Of Structured Information Standards (OASIS).
