Wow an original thought ... how long has it been? Some days I'm just too busy to surf all over the place to come up with these great entries.... Today I came across a couple of noteworthy items in the area of Object Oriented Programming. First of all, here is a link to Scott Ambler, who has a ton of good stuff. I especially like "Mapping Objects to Relational Databases" .Secondly here is a link to Wolfgang Keller in Germany (I think) who deals with similar subjects. He also has a discussion of OR mapping concepts available. Very interesting stuff.

WebMatrix (nee Saturn) finally shipped! Congrats to the ASP.NET team for producing a kick-ass IDE for ASP.NET - I love how it is more fully-featured than VS.NET in some regards (as in it has web service-specific wizards, an FTP browser, community integration and more).
If I could take this moment to issue a gentle nudge without seeming ungrateful, where's Cassini? And I'm still mourning the integrated command shell from Saturn, which is IMHO the feature of Emacs that I use the most, bar none, and one of the main reasons I don't use VS.NET yet as my main development environment. Here's the coolest free program you're probably not using: Password Safe. It's brought to you by security guru Bruce Schneier, author of Applied Cryptography. I've been using this for about 3 years now, and it's super. People occasionally ask me what a good program is for managing passwords, and everybody walks away happy with a copy of this super utility. Enjoy! [The .NET Guy]

R2D2:After a long day at work there is nothing like an amusing blog entry. With that in mind, here is a shot of Brian's Free-BSD firewall.
My wife received this one in an email with an ad offering "Hands Free Cell Phone Device" for 8 cents a piece....
