Patrick makes a good point. I love that quote about lisp! Very cool. Makes me think of some similar sentiment in regards to ADO.NET bypassing OLEDB with the Datareader and getting direct TDS's from SQL Server. Reminiscent of the pre ADO / ODBC days. The more things change.... Oh heck all the XML hierachical data we deal with these days reminds me a lot of hierachical db's in the days of yore....

Effective NAnt [IUnknown.com: John Lam's Weblog on Software Development]

John Lam chimes in with some good real-world NAnt building experience. It makes me want to get back onto my de-railed idea of a book, that would have a title like "Advanced .NET Project Management" and would heavily leverage NAnt and many other tools. What think the general populace... is there call for something like this in book and/or e-book form? Maybe John will co-author. :)  [The .NET Guy]

- Good idea! I would also like to see some coverage that deals with other Open Source tools like NUnit etc.
