Patrick makes a good point. I love that quote about lisp! Very cool. Makes me think of some similar sentiment in regards to ADO.NET bypassing OLEDB with the Datareader and getting direct TDS's from SQL Server. Reminiscent of the pre ADO / ODBC days. The more things change....
