NY Times: "Once you've found your way around, Mac OS X is filled with happy surprises." [Scripting News] [Brent Simmons: Mac OS X]

Speaking of happy surprises, check this out. I started reading this article and laughing out loud at all the great lines. I thought, 'Man, that's what makes the Times the Times; the have great writers.' Then I realized it was David Pogue! He really is wonderful. I have one of his books and it is unbelievably readable and well organized. If you read one article on OS X and where it's at today, read this one.

Mac OS X Is Only For Programmers -- Not! (MacOPINION) [Applesurf] [Brent Simmons: Mac OS X] "It was then, as I stared at those big, beautiful, space-wasting icons that actually looked liked something instead of a vague metaphor, I thought: this is perfect for my mother."
Great. This is what I think Dave would call a Zig to the prevailing wisdom's Zag.
