THE SCI FI Channel has announced a large slate of original movies and mini-series for the upcoming seasons. In addition to Battlestar Galactica, Myst, The Forever War, The Chronicles of Amber is On The Seventh Day which is set in an overcrowded society in which people live one day per week and are kept in cryogenic suspension for other six days. People on the Internet have noticed that this is very similar to Philip Jose Farmer’s Dayworld trilogy.

Egypt has suspended most relations with Israel. Why anyone in Israel would want to deal with a country that promotes the anti-Semitic slur of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion is beyond me.

Letterhead of Terror
Today’s Paper on Slate.com wonders why the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade expense report for terror bombs has an English letterhead as shown in a CNN report. What is not mentioned is that the main CNN report only shows the left-hand side of the letterhead. Viewing the whole document (page 1, page 2) shows that the right hand side is in Arabic.
