Three years after selling his domain name registration and SSL certificate company to Verisign for $575 million US, Mark Shuttleworth is in orbit and Verisign has cratered. Dropping from a high of 250 dollars a share in February 2000, Verisign plummeted another 46 percent today to $9.89 after posting disappointing revenue numbers.

Going into space, that’s really fleeing the shareholders.
