Gamers might want to take note that Blizzard Entertainment of Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo fame is owned by Vivendi Universal. This company is in the midst of a corporate crisis due to a falling stock price, its debt being cut to junk status and possible accounting issues. No suggestions so far that Blizzard might be sold to raise money but its happened once before when its parent Cendant Corporation was hit by accounting fraud.

It’s either a water leak or a sign of the coming of the Messiah

Authorities in Jerusalem have noticed an upper section of Western Wall has been damp for several days. While it is likely a water leak from a pipe or hose on the Temple Mount some Jewish religious figures believe it is a miracle since the Wall is said to wept prior the upcoming Tisha B'Av fast day.

Slate’s Dahlia Lithwick discusses the erroneous United States Supreme Court decision that allows schools to demand students take drug tests before taking part in extracurricular activities.

One of the most striking points is the court stating a school had a drug problem when only 3 out of 797 tests returned positive. This seems like a good example that in fact no drug problem exists at all and no testing is needed.
