The New York Times reports that booksellers are finding that mainstay authors such as Tom Clancy, Stephen King, Mary Higgins Clark and Sue Grafton sold less books then expected in the last year. Too many books by the authors may be a factor, through two or three books by an author in the same year doesn’t seem like too much to read. I cannot comment about the others but in the case of Tom Clancy, the lengthy delays in previous books such as The Bear and the Dragon and Rainbow Six before anything actually happens is probably the cause. 11:42:34 PM ![]() |
