Comment - The big shock was crushing Florida. Even if you assume that Florida was overrated to begin with, it's astounding that the Spartans beat them like they were Northwestern.

Izzo really shut up his critics with this win. Whatever he's done to get the players motivated, he has them really cruising on all cylinders. To me the most amazing stat from Sunday's game is that MSU held Florida to only 19 points in the second half.

Maryland, who the Spartans play Friday night, is a tough, experienced team. But they've got to be nervous if they watched the Spartans dominance last night ( http://www.greenandwhite.com/mens_basketball/030324_2c_new_msu_notebook.html ).
