Feedster and War / No War
Well I've been quiet for the past few days on the Feedster front as I tended to ugly, heavy lifting, back end stuff. But here's a cool new feature:
The War Filter.
If you go to feedster.com/war/, you can now choose to Include / Exclude / Only search about the war. Here's what it looks like:
Now I'd love to take the credit for this one but that's just not true at all. Here's the real deal as to how this came about:
- Chris asked for it and spurred me on with "Cool Idea". He really gets like 110% of the credit but others helped a lot.
- Dewayne made a bunch of improvements in the UI and helped me tweak
- Michael critiqued it and pointed out /war/ was **much** better than "indexw.php" (my idea)
- I saw a request for something like this from Ben and Brent's rapid acknowledgement of the need for it helped
Thanks everybody !
Oh and why didn't I just put this into the main interface? There's more I might want to do with this so the screen space is welcome and this way I'm not burdening everyone with it.
Note: I know I have an error in my centering routines on this page. Working on it.
