David Weinberger is in Italy with his family and is writing about it for the Boston Globe. Some of you who read this blog may not know David. He writes books and articles about the web and has a weblog called JOHO (which stands for "Journal of the Hyperlinked Organization"). I highly recommend his site, and his books: The Cluetrain Manifesto, and Small Pieces Loosely Joined.
If you have a sneaking suspicion that the Internet is a becoming an increasingly powerful social force, and you'd like to read lively and provocative commentary to help you understand the Internet better then I highly recommend "Small Pieces." David understands and can explain the Internet better than anyone I've ever come across, which I guess is why he is frequently asked to appear on National Public Radio.
