Behind the scenes
We have a special treat in store for readers who have come to expect the worst from Network Computing when it comes to our yearly Well-Connected Awards un-commercials (aired during our awards ceremony in Las Vegas each May). By sneaking a video camera on-set, we were able to capture our staff members in action, filming an action-filled skit onboard the Death Star. Check out this sneak peak to see our own Jim Hutchinson, Mike DeMaria, and Tom LaSusa battle the forces of good and evil, Jedi-style.
Fans of Tom LaSusa's ground breaking role as a storm trooper in this production may also want to tune into our This Week at Network Computing show to hear Tom's favorite picks for last night's Academy Awards.
Security savvy
Also new on the site today is our first installment of the April 1st print issue. Topping our list of excellent stories is a very nice cover package on security event data correlation. In it Greg Shipley takes a very detailed look at the troubles surrounding security management across disparate security products. To go along with this story, we've posted a great TechQuiz and some interesting e-poll results. Enjoy.
