Anti-Unix Web site on the fritz? As of midday Tuesday, the anti-Unix "We have the way out" Web site launched by Microsoft and Unisys was displaying either an all-white screen or an authorization error message. [CNET News.com]

I'm not sure which is worse...that the site initially ran bsd/apache or that after switching to windows/iss, Microsoft and Unisys have rendered their "go-away-unix" site unusable.

April Fools Day is done, and I feel fine

Well, it appears that the day of silliness and frivolity has come and gone, leaving many of us with much to chuckle about -- except perhaps for those living in Indiana. Sorry Hoosier fans. It looks like the time of the Turtle has arrived.

Anyway, I thought you might like to check out some of the funnier attempts at April Fools humor I found laying around the net yesterday.

On a serious note...

Ok, we didn't just troll the net for jokes, we also managed to post the remainder of the April 1st issue of Network Computing.

Don't get me wrong. It's chuck full of intrigue and surprises all its own. We've got a great review of Tape Libraries. Ok. that's not too surprising. But you may indeed find our story on providing accessibility to those with disabilities outside of the norm. Written by Sean Doherty, it provides some very practical advice on how IT organizations can easily meet the needs of all workers. It's a good read.
