NWCRadio, On Tap
Good day all. We've posted a large number of radio shows for you today. Topping the list is our Five-Minute Workout on deploying a NAS server. You'll like this one, as our very own Steven J. Schuchart Jr. will show you how to prep your network, your users and your staff for the deployment. Plus, Steven will offer some care and feeding tips once your system is up and running.
Of course, what week would be complete without our much beloved trainwreck of a radio show, This Week at Network Computing. Today, Mike and I are counting down our top five unintentional April Fools Day jokes. No we're not vindictive; we're just a touch cynical. Here are our winners.
- Kazaa gotcha!
- wehavethewayout-alright
- SciFi goes for inner-space
- Hewpaq stupid executive tricks
- Smart Beer
- Ok, maybe six items: Olympic mascot for Athens
Speaking of Olympics, we've also got a great CEO Minute interview with Kib Pearson, who helped secure the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake.
Last but not least, we've posted today our interview with the author of this issue's cover package on Service and Support Strategies. Listen in as Editor Jonathan Feldman walks you though the issues surrounding IT service partnerships.

Primestar --> 802.11a
Our fiend Eric Hall passed us a url on how to turn that old Primestar (now defunct) satellite dish into a directional antenna for 802.11 networks. Apparently John Frohne (an electrical engineer) put one together to extend his Apple Airport network. A great weekend project for the truly geeky.
