Windows XP to reflect antitrust changes. Microsoft will update the OS as part of a settlement agreement meant to benefit consumers and boost competition. But rivals and trustbusters say the changes don't go far enough. [CNET News.com]

Obviously, we're all hoping this answers the DOJ's issues more directly than Redmond's last gesture (removing ISP links from the desktop...big deal). To that end, we're considering a closer look into this service pack in the coming week. Stay tuned.
