I highly recommend checking in on Where's Raed often in the coming days. Who knows how long his blog will remain operational once the war starts. But until then, Raed provides a riveting inside view from Baghdad.

Interesting article in Wired on the American Media's current uncritical approach. Evidently foreign websites such as the BBC and the Guardian Unlimited have shown a significant increase in American traffic. No surprise there - well I guess there is a surprise - at least some Americans are looking for additional information.
I particularly enjoyed this comment from Jon Dennis of the Guardian Unlimited:
The only debate in the U.S. media is on the Web, Dennis said. "Weblogs are doing all the work that the U.S. media did in the past," he said. "That's an interesting development."

Poor Buried Crapbox.
One year ago today was Anchorage's Perfect Snowstorm. There's something about March that conspires to produce 30 year storms - last week's hurricane, last year's snowstorm.

At War This Time Tomorrow?
The following events have just occured:
- The will be no vote at the UN. According to the Bush Administration, "The Diplomatic Window" is closed.
- Hussein will be told this evening to "Get Out."
- The US has advised UN workers to leave Iraq now.
If Saddam were to actually leave Iraq, George W. Bush would look like a genius. He would have deposed Saddam without firing a shot. Re-election and a stellar place in history would be his. However, Saddam is not going anywhere without a fight and W's future is not at all clear.
