I spent my afternoon having a blast boucing my way through the really back back back (as Chris Berman would say) roads of Oklahoma. Yup, it was a geocaching afternoon. And boy am I glad I rented an SUV. Definitely handy for those farm roads!
I started off in Newkirk, OK. A very quaint stereotypical little town 3 miles South of the Oklahoma-Kansas border. I loved this cache at the Newkirk Visitor's Center. I want the guy who painted it, to paint our mailbox!

The next cache was about ten miles east of Newkirk at an old rural one -room school house. The guy below watched me very carefully as I retrieved the cache.

Next up was a cache truly in the middle of nowhere. I know nowhere and this cache took the nowhere cake. It was another ten miles NE of the schoolhouse cache that was already ten miles from nowhere. The cache was at the base of this lonely ol' tree.

The next cache was on this very scenic little bridge. I'll bet you didn't think Oklahoma could like this!

The last cache was also very rural and very isolated. But look at this!!!! Who knew this Oklahoma-Kansas boundary marker was here!!!!
