Yup! It's true. Peter and I are expecting - a puppy that is!

One of the nation's top bouvier kennels, Sleeping Lady Bouviers is located here in Anchorage - and we even share the same vet! How perfect is that?!!!!

One of the females is expecting - puppies are due next week. So, yesterday, Peter, Mom and myself journeyed literally to the top of the mountain to visit Angel and Steele - the puppies' parents. We had a great time. Judy introduced us to Angel and Steele and then several of her other ten bouvs. Talk about a full house of bouvs!!!!!

We absolutely loved Angel and Steele. What fabulous dogs. This will be Angel's last litter - she's eight years old - but she still looks great. Even though she is one big ol' pregnant pumpkin. Steele is 90 pounds and is wonderfully handsome and outgoing. A real sweetheart and a bit of an imp!

We also fell completely in love with Tige. 90 pounds of exuberant fun and goofy bouvier. He's two years old and has already led quite the life. He adored Mom - he basically mugged her in her chair with kisses and hugs.

We're eagerly awaiting next week and the birth!

Here's Mom, Peter, and Steele:

Here's Mom, Peter, and Angel. You can sort of see that her belly is hanging a bit low. The picture doesn't do that belly true justice though.
