Exordium
I am a media junkie. I ran a Google search on this title, and nothing came up!
Anyway, though I struggle to become a realized, self-actualized individual who expresses his creative energies effectively, I still find myself surrounded by entertainment media of mediocre quality. In a word, crap. There is some good stuff, I’ll allow, but for the most part, I find myself hostage to crap. A large measure of my efforts to create is to help free myself of other people’s crap. If I must suffer crap, at least let it be mine own!
So, “Hostage to Crap!” A category that collects my encounters with media of any quality, of any form—books, music, motion pictures, plastic arts, imagery, poetry, speech, &c. I’m going through my old posts to recategorize anything about media to this category, so this will not be the first post.
