This is an odd story about electrically powered anti-gravity devices which defy scientific explanation. The term "lifter" caught my attention because that is the term I used as a high school student over twenty years ago to describe the same type of device in a science-fiction world I was attempting to create. This world had large, zeppelin-like airships which were powered by lifters.
