Not everyone thinks the Segway scooter is all that it has been touted to be. Some states think that it is another yuppie fad and they don't want it on their sidewalks [here]. I think people are really jumping the gun on this one, since there aren't really any on the street at this point anyway, and with their $3,000 price tag, it will be a while before that changes. It would be better to take a wait-and-see approach before we start outlawing this thing.
